What happens at the Meet & Greet?

At the meet & greet, we take the time to meet you and your furry loved one(s).  We will go over the client forms together and learn about your pet’s daily routine so that we can offer continuity to their day-to-day living so they can be comfortable and stress-free while you are away.  Please have two keys ready for us (one key travels with us and the other is a back-up).

How are keys stored?

We assign an anonymous code for your key.  One key will be kept secured in a lockbox in our office, and one key will travel with us on days we visit your home.  For your convenience, we can hold on to your keys to simplify booking services in the future, or you can schedule a key return.  The first key return is free.  All subsequent key returns will incur a $6 fee per key return.

We also welcome keyless entry. We can enter through garages or make use of door key codes if available.

Is there an Additional charge during the holidays?

Yes, during the holidays listed below, there will be a single $12 holiday charge.

New Year’s Eve  •  New Year’s Day  •  Easter Sunday   •  July 4th  •  Thanksgiving Day  •  Christmas Eve  •  Christmas Day

Do you accept last minute reservations?

We understand last minute emergencies can occur; therefore, please feel free to reach out us.  We will do our absolute best to accommodate your needs. (Contacting us two weeks or more before major holidays is highly recommended).

How do I know when you’ve visited my pets?

We send updates and pictures of your pet(s) when we have them on our schedule. You can also opt in to use our free GPS check-in/check-out system to receive email updates that will tell you when we arrive and leave your home.

What happens if my pet requires vet attention while I am away?

First, we will make an attempt to contact you (the pet owner) to decide on a course of action.  If it is an emergency, we will immediately take your pet to the vet or emergency vet you listed in the initial information forms.  If we are unable to get a hold of you or your emergency contact, we will head immediately to a veterinarian per your instructions in our veterinary release agreement.

What does being insured and bonded mean for a pet sitting business?

Essentially, it means that we take full responsibility for your pet and possessions while you are away.  For example, if your dog bites another dog while we were on a walk, our liability insurance would cover the vet bills.  If we accidentally knocked down a picture while at your house, we would cover the cost of fixing the picture/framing.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, checks and credit cards.  We aim to make payment convenient for our clients, so mobil payment services such as Venmo and others are also an option.

Do you offer any discounts?

We have a referral program in which you can earn discounts off your next service invoice by referring one of your friends or family members that use our services.
